It does look like he's going to need some ice packs for some of the other bruises, which he can provide, of course. ]

Putting the pieces of gauze and the disinfectant away for now, Bobby grabs one of the cloth gloves in the kit and wears it on his right hand. Then he turns it into solid ice, effectively transforming his gloved hand into a makeshift ice pack, too.
Leaning in, making sure to lock his gaze with John's, he presses his hand across his ribs. ]
This feels good? [ It's a gentle press as he adjusts the temperature of his hand so it's not too cold for John. ]
[ unable to help himself, a hiss leaves him the moment that icy hand touches his marred skin, goosebumps running across at the cooler temperature. cold is cold and john's never really been a fan of the cold, but. it's better than putting any heat to his injuries; they're not really the sort to need heat.
letting out a breath, he licks over his lips. sits there. lets his gaze settle there on the other mutant for a moment before he's looking around again, icepack still there beside him, freeing up both his eyes. ]
