So am I. It was surprising, really, especially given we had some rough spots.

Eh, there were a fair few, but I would rather focus on the good times.

Would it be odd for me to say I miss some of those rougher spots? It made the relationship more rewarding when things weren’t perfect all the time.

I don't think it's weird. Like you said, it made the relationship more rewarding.

Mine's not perfect all the time either, but we always make it work. There's no such thing as a perfect relationship anyway.

Well, he is, actually. But he understands our situation here. We just have agreements and stuff. And reserving certain things for each other, too.

That's good, he didn't seem unreasonable when I met him, but I didn't mention you around him... perhaps that would have made more waves.

I was not good at reserving certain things for my partner(s). I still struggle with it.

Yeah, he's a bit possessive so I'm glad you didn't mention me to him. He's really cool, though!

He does seem really cool.

Only the one we were talking about earlier... he told me that I wasn't doing enough and asked me what I could do to make him feel special, no one else has ever asked for something reserved for them. So, I worry.

I see. Communication's important in a relationship, so I guess if no one's expressed something, then maybe they're okay not having one.

But you can always ask them if you're worried?
